Just because Brown Bird announced another local show and I’ve got Newport on my mind…

Here’s a quick video I shot of David & MorganEve performing “Fingers to the Bone” backstage at last year’s Newport Folk Fest during an impromptu jam session.

As they say, “Brown Bird is better listened to in a room made of wood.” I couldn’t agree more.

Caught By The Camera at Newport Folk Fest

Thanks Brian, for pointing out a photo Newport Folk Fest posted yesterday. We were both up for the weekend with TakinYerPhoto covering the festival on Instagram, and there I am in the background, front of stage. No doubt this jam with Middle Brother was one of the most memorable, most energetic of the entire weekend. Check out the video here.
